Recombinant Human IGF1 LR3 Protein
BMEM Bio Recombinant Human IGF1 LR3 is a premier animal-origin free (AOF) analog of human IGF1. It is a highly stable, bio-available growth factor that drives superior proliferation at significantly lower concentrations than recombinant insulin or wild-type IGF1.
Product Summary:
- Size: 9.1 kDa
- Form: Tag-less protein
- Purity: 95% by SDS-PAGE quantitative densitometry
- Endotoxin: <1 EU/µg
- Expression System: E.coli
- Format: 1 mg lyophilized
- Resuspension Buffer: sterile water at >50 µg/mL
- Storage: Short-term at -20 ºC and long term at -80 ºC.
Key Features
Extended Half-Life: In a competitive binding assay, IGF1 LR3 showed equal affinity for the insulin receptor but showed negligible binding to Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Proteins (IGFBPs)1 , extending its biological half-life when compared to wild-type IGF1.
Higher Potency: Significantly more potent than recombinant Insulin, requiring lower concentrations in cell culture medium.
Animal-Origin Free (AOF): Produced in an AOF environment for research use only.
Purity: Achieves >95% purity via SDS-PAGE quantitative densitometry with endotoxin levels below 1 EU/µg.
Research Use Only
